The AVC-G2

designed

replace the rear portion

the factory centerconsole with a specially designed mon-

itor shroud that adds the option

rear entertainment while retaining the factory cosmetic appeal. Please note

which Clarion monitor

to be used with

thiS

housing

and

follow the mounting directions for that model.

Console Disassembly and Clarion Monitor Shroud Preparation

Open the center console lid and remove the (7) phillips screws on top of the console pocket and

the (4) bolts at the bottom remove the pocket.

Unplug the rear stereo control and ACC Power Plug.

Carefully push out the (2) clips at the bottom of the Inside rear console. (Be carefull not to break

the tabs that the clips are attached to.)

Lift the top of the console to remove.

Take the clips off of the factory rear console and

use them

the AVC-G2 shroud.

Install the factory stereo controls onto the AVC-G2 shroud.

Mounting the Monitor

1 Connect the monitor wiring as directed

the installation instructions for that unit and mount the

hideaway box for the monitor or tuner (if equipped) in a suitable location.

Locate the proper mounting adapter for the monitor being used and attach the monitor to the

adapter as illustrated.

Connect the monitor signal/power cable(s) as directed

the installation manual for that unit.

Secure the adapter to the Clarion Monitor Shroud uSing the (4) screws provided

the kit.

Console Re-assembly

Attach the Clarion AVC-G2 onto the factory console.

Plug

the rear stereo control.

Reinstall the console pocket.

Replace the (4) bolt

bottom of the console and the (7) screws

the top of the console pocket.
